Broken down? Start one roadside request.
Drop a pin and pick the service for your truck or trailer. If an eligible approved mechanic is available and responds, review the ETA and price before assignment. Provider availability varies by location, service, and time.
Why drivers choose RoadService.app
Review an ETA before assignment
When an eligible mechanic responds, review that mechanic's ETA before you commit. Response and arrival times vary by location, service, and demand.
A price before work starts
Responding mechanics submit a bid or estimate and ETA. You approve the all-in total before assignment, and separately approve any later price change.
Approval and document checks
Before a shop can receive dispatch jobs, it must pass review with current insurance, tax documentation, business details, and approved services.
Truck AND trailer
One request covers the whole rig — tractor or trailer. Tires, tow, fuel, lockout, air brakes, ABS, landing gear, reefer units, DEF/DPF derates, and on-site diagnostics.
Request online any time
The request form is available 24/7, and the provider directory has nationwide U.S. listings. Dispatch availability is different from directory coverage and varies by market.
Built for fleets too
Fleet managers get one account for every truck: PO numbers, team access, asset records, and a command center showing live breakdowns and spend across the fleet.
How it works
Submit your request
Drop a pin at your breakdown location, pick the service, and add photos or your vehicle details — tractor or trailer.
Get matched, see the price
Qualified mechanics respond with an ETA and pricing. Review the all-in total, then approve before a mechanic is assigned or starts travel.
Back on the road
Your mechanic completes the work and you confirm it. Follow the job's payment instructions: pay at the truck, or use RoadService-managed checkout when it is explicitly offered.
Frequently asked questions
How fast can a mechanic reach me?
Response and arrival times vary. An approved mechanic must be on duty, have current documents, share a fresh location, and choose to respond. You can review a responding mechanic's ETA before assignment, but an ETA or arrival is not guaranteed.
Will I know the price before work starts?
If an eligible mechanic responds, you see the customer-facing all-in total, including the RoadService job fee when applicable, with the ETA before assignment. A mechanic bid is not necessarily your total, and later changes require separate approval.
Do you cover trailers, or only the tractor?
Both. One request covers the whole rig: trailer tires, reefer units, ABS and lights, air lines, landing gear, kingpin and brakes — in addition to all tractor work.
What does it cost to use RoadService.app?
There's no driver membership or subscription. You approve one all-in repair total before work starts. Most current jobs are paid directly to the mechanic at the truck; if a checkout explicitly shows RoadService-managed payment or escrow, pay through that checkout and do not pay the mechanic a second time.
