SPN 5394 FMI 7 — DEF Dosing Valve — Not Responding

What SPN 5394 FMI 7 means

The DEF dosing (metering) valve isn't responding mechanically to ECM commands. DEF can't be metered correctly, SCR efficiency drops, and a derate follows. Crystallization or a clogged/failed dosing valve is the usual culprit.
