Dump Trailer Repair
Dump trailers add a hydraulic hoist to standard running gear, so the most urgent calls are hydraulic (won't raise/lower or stuck up) plus the usual brakes, tires, and tailgate hardware.
If an eligible approved provider is on duty and available, it may respond with a price and ETA. Response and arrival are not guaranteed.
Common dump trailer problems
Telescopic cylinder leaks, pump/PTO problems, blown hoses, and a bed that won't raise — or worse, won't lower — are the signature dump-trailer failures.
Air/manual tailgate latches, hinges, and seals jam or leak material.
Heavy, abrasive loads and rough sites punish brakes, tires, and suspension.
Job-site abuse and material exposure kill lights and connectors.
What a mobile tech fixes roadside
Hydraulic hoses, fittings, fluid, and many valve issues, plus brakes, tires, lights, and tailgate hardware, are commonly fixed on-site. A bed stuck in the raised position is an urgent, dispatchable call.
What usually needs a shop
Cylinder rebuild/replacement, pump replacement, and bed/frame structural repair usually need a shop.
Dump Trailer repair — FAQ
Sometimes — a blown hose, fitting, low fluid, or a stuck control valve can be addressed on-site. A failed cylinder or pump may need a shop. Don't work under a raised bed without it safely secured.
